When a stranger (Denny) walks into the bar where Cassie is bartending she feels an instant attraction, little does she know that he is on the run from some very bad men. While the night progresses and they share drinks Denny opens up to the friendly bartender and tells her a bit of what is happening. Against Cassie's better judgement she and Denny set off to have a one-night-stand, but when morning comes she is in for a bit of a surprise. Now on the run from two mobsters Cassie and Denny go on a road trip and try to lose their unwanted company. Will they be able to get away from the trouble that is following Denny? I didn't realize that being afraid for your life makes you as horny as these two....I guess that makes it even hotter ;) Cassie and Denny have nowhere left to hide and when it comes to light that Cassie's father may have something to do with the men after her she isn't sure how to react. Great story that is action packed and stuffed with lots and lots of steamy sex scenes.

Winner Takes All
Cassie has been running from her past, her family and herself for so long, that she doesn’t know if she’s coming or going. Never really knowing her father, other than the fact that he wasn’t there when she was growing up and when she did need him, he was in jail, trying to support her mother and herself when she was a young teenager due to her mother’s terminal illness, then finding herself alone in the world before she was 16, kicked out of school and not sure what to do with herself, all seems to have taken it’s toll. She’s been hiding out, trying to live a quiet life, not sure what to do with herself. So, imagine the turmoil when, in the middle of the biggest storm she’s seen in a long time, while at work at the “in the middle of nowhere” bar and grill, in walks Denny, looking like a drowned cat, dressed in a tuxedo, and flashing a wad of rolled up $100. bills, cockily asking where a guy can buy a good drink. The connection is instant between these two, as they flirt throughout the night.
But neither are aware of the action-packed life they are soon to find themselves in the middle of.
An awesome read, this book is filled to the brim with action, a bit of violence and lots and lots of hot and steamy, sexy scenes that will have you burning up with a fever to “get yourself some”. With only a handful of people she can rely on, Cassie questions her actions on numerous times, never quite sure who is telling the truth and who is simply trying to use her for one reason or another. The struggles her and Denny encounter might make you wonder if they will ever get a proper chance to simply enjoy each other.
Be prepared, once you pick this one up and start reading, there’s no way you’ll want to put it down. I hope to see more of this couple somewhere down the line. I think the author could easily create some form of series, or at least a second book based on these two, and some of their “friends and family”. This is a standalone and complete. Absolutely loved this story. A must read if you like lots of action and lots of loving.
The Object of His Desire
Wow! This was so intense. It took me quite some time to figure out which man Trudy was actually going to end up with, as she volleyed often between Charlie and Will. There was so much going on in this book, that at times it was overwhelming, but as you continue, you realize that it was a necessity, a means to the end. The characters are complex, yet they totally wow you from the beginning. The plot starts off fast and continues that same pace throughout the entire book. Once you start reading, there’s no way you will be able to put it down until you are finished.
Between the “lies”, or perhaps it would be better to say the different memories, of the same events, the heated exchanges between Trudy and Charlie, then between Trudy and Will, whether it be verbal or sexual, or the “chats” with her friend Julie, drunken or sober, the action that transpires throughout will have you biting your nails and perched on the edge of your seat. A must read.
Black Widow
OMG! Can we say dark? This book will take you for a ride on the dark side, and it will include many nasty realities that we tend to hide in the very back of our minds. Eleanor’s life has gone from ideal, comfortable with her work and in love with her husband, to bleak and dark, caught in her own mind due to circumstances beyond her control, circumstances set in place by her husband, Jeremy, who she now knows, she truly didn’t know at all. After spending almost two years incarcerated for aiding her husband with his illegal dealings, of which she found out the hard way, the real hard way while in prison, she’s out and looking for revenge. She’s not even sure who she’s looking for, but she determined, because, after her nightmare in prison, she is still locked up, only it’s not in a cell, it’s in her mind. Will she ever feel normal again? Where will she start? The only person she knew of that knew about the secret life Jeremy lived, would be Danny. As good a place as any to start. But where will revenge take her? And what exactly will it give her when she finds it?
If you are looking to read something different, with a dark twist or two, full of intrigue, action, pain, abuse and twisted love, then this would be the one you don’t want to miss out on. It is a standalone that you will find, that once you start, you won’t be able to put it down…and even at the end, you could continue reading, because the author has you hooked, hook, line and sinker. A great way to finish off the boxed set. P.J. Adams has made it to my small list of favourite authors.

I loved this book!! It has 3 full length novels, each so different from the other. Each one of these books was full of action, suspense, intrigue, danger, twists that you never expect, a darkness that you'll crave, unexpected romances, steamy sex scenes that will leave you breathless, and all of them will leave you wanting more!! The Heroes are sexy and definitely bad boys, while the heroines are all trying to find themselves, who they truly are and their place in life.
PJ Adams is truly an exceptional author! Her writing is always filled with a passion that allows readers to feel like a part of the story, to connect with her characters, and never want the story to end. She is definitely one of my favorite authors and I look forward to more of her work.
If you're looking for a romantic suspense with a bit of darkness, this is truly the book for you! I highly recommend this!

These books have already been presented (and read) The name "OUTLIERS" just caused me to order it again, when I had already read these stories. Object of this Desire was my favorite story.

The stories are full of twists and turns. They are interesting, dark, intriguing, surprising, thrilling and sexual. The plots are well thought out. The characters are well written and full of depth. I think these are worth reading. If you like suspense and thrillers than these will be for you.
This is a set of three captivating books that are well written with great plots, that are loaded with twists and turns that keep you glued to each book. They were all very intense reads with suspense, murder, hot sex, drama, and of course, romance. Once you start the first book, you won't be able to stop until you have read all three. Each one is different. I really enjoyed this book set, and boy, what a bargain. Read this set, you'll be so glad you did! I received this set of books as a gift for an honest review. Patsy Sacco,
