Who is the UNSUB? This is *The Question* that has plagued every reader since we were first introduced to Sadie, Colton and the UNSUB in book one. Personally, I have had my finger pointed at nearly every character at one point or another. Book 2 ended with the mother of all cliffhangers that gave me panic attacks every time I thought about it. After months of suffering, I couldn't have been more ready to get the answer!I went into this book determined to figure out who the UNSUB was prior to the eventual reveal. I took notes, highlighted passages, pin pointed clues and reread paragraphs and entire chapters. The outcome? Well, it's a good thing I never considered a career as a detective. I failed miserably.
Trisha has expertly crafted a plot so devious that she had me staring directly at the clues as she ever so subtly redirected my attention else where. Sneaky b*!ch! I guess, steamy sex scenes and a hot Shibari rigger also served an ulterior purpose. ;) I never saw what is now so obvious which attests to the amazing talent this author possesses.
Prepare to be immersed into a world steeping with secrets, suspicion and pain! A world where the answers you seek will not be found in the light. If you want them, you need to be willing enter the darkness. A world so completely twisted that only the true master will survive!
This book has me seriously concerned for Trisha Wolfe's sanity. Normal people don't think like this!

BUT COME ON!!
"...a plastic breathing apparatus covers the lab tech's mouth..." ?!? Really? You couldn't just say OXYGEN MASK?
There are instances of THENs instead of THANs and vice/versa, and other grammatical issues of that nature.
GET AN EDITOR, your story deserves better, as do your fans.
The sex and bondage were really well written.
In the stunning conclusion to this trilogy, I became a slave to this storyline. I was one hundred percent invested in all of these characters, even the strong side characters such as Quinn, Avery, and Carson. This third book flew by for me as I devoured the last bit of mystery I'd been waiting to solve. The author had me guessing up until the very end and I loved every second of it.
"The heroine doesn't suddenly experience a life-altering realization that she can conquer her demons and become a beacon--a role model for all suffering souls to follow in her footsteps...This is not that story."
In this last book, we finally uncover all of the hidden truths, even those of Sadie Bonds. All is revealed and I couldn't get enough. Throughout the story, I was dominated by this intriguing and steamy tale. I'd fully submitted to it and was bound to it until it finally released me--my heart galloping and my chest gasping for air. Boy, what a ride.

Why yes, Trisha Wolfe, that you are.

F-I-N-A-L-L-Y, now we know who UNSUB! Do we find out right away? Nooooo, sorry. The author makes you wait on this one. And like the last book, I suspected every male, except Colton. Yes, I felt confident enough with the new information that he was innocent. But don't tell that to Carson. Grrrr!
We learn a lot more about Sadie, and it truly came as a surprise. She's not the tortured girl I expected to be. I always thought she was two steps behind the UNSUB, and while she never guessed who it could be, she had the presence of mind to do what she needed to save her friend and give her some peace.
Now, when the UNSUB is revealed, I checked my list and he was on it. So yay for me! But I didn't get the satisfaction I wanted from that discovery. It all felt a bit deflating. And then the author throws in a last minute twist that changed everything. Seriously, WOW! I bumped up my rating a whole 1/2 star (4 stars to 4.5 stars) just from that ending. WOW! Great end to this series.

1st. It says edition is 155 pages. It is actually closer to 190 pages.
2nd. This series Knocked My Socks off!! A great Thriller and Adult Erotic Romance.
It is provoking. You find yourself a part of the Dark that lives in Sadie Bonds, the main female character.
It is tantalizing. You just can't quit reading no matter how much you need to do other things.
This world that Trisha Wolfe created, the characters, the mix and fight of Dark and Light that you can't help but relate to in some way, entices and fascinates you.
Is there room for improvement? Perhaps..... But I was so involved in the story, the flow of the story and the characters, that I literally cannot say if there were any editing errors, etc.
The story is just that gripping.
Was it worth the $3.99 I spent for it? A resounding YES! Even with my 'economical' (cheap) personality, I say YES! YES! YES!!
So... It turns out I had no clue at all?! All my theories were wrong! The only thing I was right about was Colton and Sadie, and how they continued to turn up the heat and intensity in their relationship. Their trust in one another was put to the test, which added fuel to the fire.
The ending was mind blowing and as I said before... I had no clue! Never saw it coming at all. There were so many twists and turns, it literally had me thinking and guessing "who done it" the whole time. I love a book that draws you in and consumes your thoughts, even when you aren't reading it.
It was great to experience this story from the multiple POVs of Sadie, Colton and the UNSUB. It provided a deeper connection to the characters and just added to the story in such a huge way.
I really don't want to say much more than this, I'd hate to ruin the Colton and Sadie experience for anyone. So I will say that I absolutely loved this whole series and I've become such a huge fan of Trisha Wolfe's. In my opinion, if you are looking for a dark, erotic and suspenseful romance... Look no further
